Falls
Another icon from my childhood, the water crossings at the Ledges figure in many of my memories. This park is one of Iowa's hidden gems.

Liberty Memorial
We went for a drive on a late July night in Kansas City. I took this photograph of the Liberty Memorial shortly before we got kicked out for being there after hours. Honestly I think I have been kicked out of there more times than not over the years.

Water Blocks
This photo was taken for the Tagtober contest. I walked down to the local park on a wet October night with a Tilley hat for the rain and a tripod for the camera. Rushing water filled the drainage channels, cascading down through the blocks.

I have known this sculpture most of my life. I remember climbing on it as a kid. I took this with a pre-WW2 folding camera, sitting on the grass and framing it in a miniscule waist-level finder.

Gages
I didn't expect much when I stopped to take this photograph of two gages in the basement of the Memorial Union. Happily, I got more than I expected.
